The lady maker is fast becoming one of my favourite brands! For a relatively new label, they have managed to identify their unique aesthetic and build a slow, steady, well respected and dependable brand for themselves.I love their unique work with prints and classic ladylike silhouettes!
Detachable separates are always quite a genius idea, especially when they come in gorgeously cut dresses. In today’s post, I am wearing an outfit by the Brand. It stocks at Zinkata and is such a beautifully cut and well thought out piece. It is made up of separates; a detachable hand-beaded cape and a sleeveless circle dress with complimentary piped panels.
Three things I love most about this outfit:
a. The Colour purple: A definite YES for me. I love the vibrant shade(quite complimentary for most skin tones), the contrasting play of prints on the cape and dress as well as the cohesive fusion of colours! It would look awesome paired with metallic accessories as well as solid co-ordinates.
b. The cut: It is always all about the cut! I love the cut of the skirt of the dress! It is very feminine, lady-like and romantic. Super flattering!
c. The Separates: I quite like the idea of being able to wear this dress in different ways. Off the top of my head, I could easily wear this dress with a shirt underneath and opt to go with or without the cape. I could also throw the cape over another outfit, a dress or even separates. Genius!

Has anyone noticed my new obsession with hair clips and bands??The clips I have on in this post are by Moliabal, Italian made Luxury hair pieces. Each piece is intricately made and is such a great accompaniment for styling your hair and tying it in with your outfit.
