Fashion week is one of the favourite times of my work year. I am always excited and eager to see the new trends coming up and what direction our favourite designers would go with their new collections. It is also a great opportunity to meet and connect with the different creatives.

This year, It was quite an intense week of back to back fashion and here’s a list of my sartorial choices.

It all kickstarted with a pre-dinner for the fashion insiders and creatives. I opted for one of my favorite Ankara print dresses from my wardrobe teamed with a button down white shirt. I was in a pretty laid back mood and this was the perfect dress for an easy evening of fashion.

The next day was the show proper and for Day 1, I wore a Jacquard dress by the Lady Maker, coming soon to Zinkata, with blouson sleeves and a midi-hemline. It was a simple and really chic look. I felt really beautiful in it and had an amazing day of watching truly awesome talent.

Day 2 of the shows came in no time! Here, I pulled out my Aso-oke bejewelled Cape by Abaya Lagos. I teamed it with a sleeveless top and a leather skirt with circular embroidery by Jewel by Lisa.

For the last day of the shows, the red boiler suit by Nkwo from Zinkata came in really handy. I teamed it with a matching head -tie and white chunky sneakers. It was a very comfy look and the perfect outfit to manoeuvre backstage in stylish form.

What were your best looks?
