Yesterday was such a blissful day.. Firstly, It was a beautiful Saturday.. and ..I had 2 different events to go for..
First Event: Sade Akimbowale nee Tejuosho invited me for her brother’s (Tunji) wedding..
Second Event: Elohor Aisien launched the Prive Wedding Atelier..
They both sound really exciting right? Here’s the glitch;
Outfit Choice: For the wedding I planned to wear African Traditional attire; A dress designed for me by Meena two years ago teamed with a matching head-tie.
Elohor’s events’ dress code was in a totally different direction.
“Sometimes, we have multiple events we would love to attend but decide to opt for just one, because we feel we can’t wear a certain outfit to the other occasion or vice versa“.. Quite understandable..
Here is my thought on this..Go for the events regardless..
I thought firmly along these lines and got my solution to yesterday’s minor fiasco.. I decided to wear my traditional attire for the Atelier launch and head on afterwards to the wedding..
I went in all my traditional glory for Elohor’s event first .. and had a mighty fine time while at it..
… and off I went on my merry way to the wedding.. where my outfit fit in perfectly..
..Have a blessed Week all and remember to …SHOW UP ..regardless.
