A themed Lagos Wedding

May 24, 2015 | Fashion

Yesterday, I attended a really beautiful wedding ceremony for Femi Atilade & Oluwatosin Ola..

THE COUPLE..

THE COUPLE..

The wedding IV stated quite  clearly the Dress Code/Theme ; Royal Ascot Opening Day/Cocktail attire.

WHAT I WORE…

Right up till the day before, I hadn’t given what to wear a thought..(Story of my life).. I opted for a 3/4 length Vintage Hand Crochet dress.. It felt just right for the theme..I sort of improvised with my hair piece.. I fused two different hair accessories together. The white netting and the feathers.. Together, it sort of gave my dress a nice vintage/flapperish vibe..

It was such a fun day and the guests all looked beautiful.. I loved Zainab Ashadu’s outfit.. Zainab is the designer of the Zashadu bags I am quite obsessed with.. She matched her tasselled Maki Oh pants in a really refreshing way..

Titi  Fowora looked really awesome as well.. I particularly loved the cut and fabric of her dress.. Sadly, I forget the designer.. I know it’s by a seasoned German dressmaker … who also made her wedding dress..
