Bad Hair Days, Turbans and Family Time

Jan 8, 2015 | Beauty, Fashion

The weather in Ireland is quite lethal at the moment… and my wee delicate hair needs to be shielded from  the elements…I went the turban route with an Ankara head wrap. It was the easiest route to go and saved me from the horrors of hair shredding or hot combing…

Turbans are so convenient .. Apart from their convenience..they lend an outfit a bit of an upscale mysterious air.. It is actually not so complicated .. You-tube has some really cool videos …I divided the fabric into two sections and wrapped it quite easily round my head. The colours of the head wrap went quite nicely with the Grey of my skirt by Bridget Awosika. I teamed it with a black turtleneck sweater and Blue-Black Miu Miu Court Shoes and was well ready for a day in the town with my sisters.

It was a great day and even more joyful because  I spotted each of my sisters sporting pieces  from Zinkata.. How awesome is that??

Chioma looked pretty cool.. Her bag is an Aiirkey bag, and she got it from Zinkata. She teamed it with a grey skirt from Zinkata as well…

Ugochi added an afrocentric vibe to her sporty look with an Ankara throw on jacket from Zinkata as well.. I absolutely love her shoes..
