CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE IS SPOTTED TWICE IN FIA FACTORY

Oct 22, 2016 | Celebrity, Fashion, Shows

The newly appointed first female Creative Director of the House of DiorMaria Grazia Chiuri derived inspiration from Chimamanda Adichie and her Tedex talk on Feminism, for her debut female empowered collection at the SS17 Dior shows. During the show, the models were spotted walking the  runway in tees with slogans referencing Chimamanda’s Tedex talk whilst clips from the speech played in the background.

As special guest of honour at the shows which held at  the Musee Rodin, Paris,  the award winning novelist wore a gorgeous print black and white dress by FIA , curated by Zinkata. It was the perfect choice; Clean lines, striking prints and a seamless afro-contemporary fusion.  She soundly delivered the look whilst proudly projecting her Nigerian roots in chic patriotic fashion. Way to go Chimamanda! We are so excited!!

There’s more: During her book media tour, she was spotted in Amsterdam, looking gorgeous in another outfit by FIA, curated by Zinkata.  It was quite an alternative look, featuring a dress and a contrasting apron in an intriguing mix of prints. She carried it off so effortlessly! A true testament to her admirable strength and individual perspectives.
