Event: Mona was headed to a Fashion Runway Jazz Fiesta at the Eko Hotel Lagos and I was booked to style her for the event.I waltzed into the Odio Mimonet studios and stumbled upon this truly amazing dress pictured below:
First, I loved the stark white contrast of the upper half to the delicate medley of different laces on the bottom part of the dress.It was an intriguing juxtaposition and I was super sure it was the perfect fit for my client; Monalisa Chinda. The great thing about familiarising yourself with your clients proportions is the added advantage of knowing instantly if a dress is the right size, cut and fit merely by glancing at it!
Style, Hair and beauty Direction: The dress fit perfectly and was a truly flattering cut for her colouring and figure. Her hair was styled in a sophisticated braids up-do secured with a navy-blue sash at the base of the bun. SIlver accessories and Navy-blue shoes complimented the entire look quite seamlessly!
