Getting more wear out of old Tops…

Dec 12, 2014 | Fashion

I can’t believe it’s Friday already..

The parties are upon us again..and with it comes making choices.. such as.. WHAT TO WEAR..

This brings me to the main topic/tip for the day.. “OLD CLOTHES

Pull out those tops you hardly wear or pieces you’ve worn for special occasions and never revisited.. think up ways to make them work for now..

In my case, I whipped out a top  I wore for a dear friends traditional wedding ceremony in 2011..Here’s a picture of me in it with my sisters.

Chioma, Ezinne and Ugochi

I decided to give it a new spin..A modern rockstar spin..

I teamed the top with baggy turn-up jeans and strappy black and gold shoes.. The top sort of looked like a corset and worked well with the jeans..I actually wore it to work just like this….

Do you have pieces in your wardrobe that have never been worn?? This is a great time and season to whip them out and get some much needed wear out of them.. Are you stuck and not too sure of how to make it work?? Please write in with images and I would be very happy to help out..

Have a fantastic Friday all..
