Hello all,
I hope you are all doing great and having a blessed and blissful Monday. Fabulously pushing forward and having an overall positive and productive day.We shall all have a very amazing week.. Yes! I SAID IT...
The Nigerian Fashion industry is on fire! We are such a gifted nation, with a proud and distinct culture and heritage.
I am wearing a really Old skirt I bought from Nigerian Design Label, Grey. I remember stopping by their store to pick up pieces for a photo shoot and parting with this skirt!
The prints are sublime; sort of with “tribal and graphic echoes”, the black leather band at the waistline, toughens up the skirt and stops it shy of being too sexy. I teamed it with a long sleeved mesh blue body suit I bought ages ago from Top-shop. Mom’s Christian Dior shades from the early 80’s, sort of had to have a moment!
For a bit of a new spin to the whole oldies vibes, I finished up my look with cream ankle length gladiator type shoes from Top shop.
Tip 1: Fashion is cyclical. Recycling pieces is a very smart way to go. Unearth your really old favourites… dare to go as far back as 10 years .. Team it with a modern spin; a new bag perhaps?Create your own statement!
Remain Happy!
