I woke up today in great cheer.. I hope this is the case for you all?? I earnestly hope so.. May we all be safe and happy through out this weekend..and have an amazing week ahead..
It was a struggle to get out of bed to church, after the long day I had yesterday..voting..etc.. Surprisingly, I was not too exhausted and hopped out of bed..ready to head to church..
What to wear came quite easily as well.. I am obviously still slightly obsessed with this skirt I posted about on Friday…
I threw it on again..not caring that it may be “too soon” … This leads to the crux of today’s post.. “How soon can we wear the same outfit again?”..
In my humble opinion..the answer would be, “as soon as you feel like”..
We really should be able to wear whatever we feel like whenever we want to..without over thinking..and wondering:
- who saw us..
- does it look like we have just one skirt..
- other self limiting thoughts borne out of vanity and sometimes without us even been aware; insecurity…
I wore my skirt again to church today… How exciting!! This time I teamed it with a vintage Jacket I bought about 3 years ago from Tiannah’s Styling and white shoes from Mobos.. I love hats!! ..sooo much.. I wish I could wear one every single day.. So..my white hat from Debenham’s featured as well…
and off I went to church for a deeply enriching service..
