I tried to keep things semi-professional by wearing not so form fitting lace eyelet pants. They are from Nigerian designer, “House of Marie’ and I love the Apple green colour as well as the cut. I teamed it with a lemon yellow blouse from Topshop, which I knotted at the waist. I like the neutral fusion of the colours. My Purple sandals are from Asos and the floral clutch from Oasis.

It can be worn in less rigid environments. The coming weekend perhaps? Here are some tips to get you going.
- For a cool fresh vintage vibe, team your cropped top with a high waist midi (mid-length) skirt. This is a pretty safe look and is quite forgiving for most body types.
- For a preppy cool take on the trend, cropped tees or shirts look great with overalls or dungarees. They look really nice and quite modest as you have just a flash of skin at the side to deal with.
