Shirts are the best “Layering” Enablers. Here’s why.

Jul 23, 2016 | Fashion

In today’s post, my powder blue shirt came thoroughly to the rescue.”We probably all have one of those dresses in our wardrobes,  just sitting there and getting no wear. Mainly because it’s a sleevless dress and we are absolutely not in the mood for bare arms.Well, here’s a very practical solution: Wear a shirt or underneath and it comes alive in a totally different way. A really fresh way to slide into your next move!

A. Shirts make you appear neat and professional

b. They give an added cool twist to a garment.

c. Depending on the colour of shirt chosen, it can be an added burst of colour to an otherwise somber dress.

In my case, I pulled out this stunning Dress by Gozel Green which I got from Zinkata. I paired it pretty easily with a light-blue shirt. It also really helped that my shoes were the exact shade of the shirt. It gave the entire look a really pulled together neat look. It was quite interesting really. I had a really rough day and felt really frazzled most of the time. However, the neatly buttoned shirt and matching shoes masked the entire raucous going on in my over active mind and was quite a pleasing experience really!
