…I was Roused from an idyllic moment by the shrill ringing of my phone…
It was Style actress and Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. She had an event to attend and Yours truly was commissioned to style her .Renowned African Fashion designer, Tiffany Amber was celebrating her 15th Anniversary. It promised to be quite a grand affair; and my client was attending.
They (Tiffany Amber) had an evening black dress custom-made for Omotola. It was made from exquisite black sequined fabric and moulded Omotola’s famous curves thoroughly. IT WAS A NO-BRAINER REALLY! The dress was for the win! The best part of Styling Omotola is her versatility, she is bold/adventurous and never afraid to try out new looks. We decided to go for a statuesque silhouette.
Omotola was initially hesitant about the hair, which was styled in a sleek bone straight centre part. In true form she came through pretty quickly and was up for it. Chi-Chi of Faceville makeovers achieved the exact look we were going for: Smokey eyes and nude lips . Minimal accessories and Omosexy (as she is famously known) was well on her way to the event.
In the picture below, she is with the Creative director of Tiffany Amber, Folake Coker.
Easy peezy happy! What else was even more amazing? Apart from looking totally amazing at the event (if I may very humbly say so myself), Omotola was also unveiled as one of the 15 Diamond women of vision. It was such a great recognition and proud moment. She took it all in with graceful aplomb.
Have an awesome day all..
Sincerely,
Ezinne Chinkata

Thanks Naomi!! And thanks for stopping by!!
Cool site. Good job Ezinne… Doing what you know how to do best. One thing I like about the dress is it’s modesty yet sophisticated… It hugged every part of her in a modest way and left a little skin at the upper part of her. One is left to imaginations.
Thank you Tunji..Indeed modesty can be the utmost form of elegance..and many thanks for visiting the site..
