The Lagos Fashion and Design week, 2017 is well over, yet the aftershocks from the onslaught of spectacular fashion is still on. Leading my favourite shows for Day 3 was Tiffany Amber. At first, I looked on at the Tiffany Amber show in delight and the usual applause due one who always lives up to the expectations of her devoted fans. After the show, and all the fuss about the shows died down, my mind once more went back to Tiffany Amber’s show as well as her innovative use of Batik in classic silhouettes!
Folake Coker (the Creative Director) really put out an amazing collection. Hers set the pace for the many trends currently filtering through to 2018. This year, if my math serves me right, Tiffany Amber is set to mark her Twentieth year anniversary. A mean feat if there ever was one.
Twenty years of:
- Spectacular fashion
- Consistency
- Evolving silhouettes
- Hard work
- Relevance
- Remarkable staying power
I am beyond inspired! In not many more words, may I table to you all, my top ten looks from her collection at the last LFDW shows. See photos below:

The true test isn’t really how amazing we are, it is how long we stay relevant for, or better still, how long we keep evolving to fit in with the ever changing ebbs and flows of the market!
My fave look from last years collections is Look 4, what’s yours?
Congratulations Tiffany Amber. Keep flying the flag of excellence and inspiring us while at it!
