I am wearing a Vintage Aso Oke suit by Nigerian Design Label “Lady Biba”. I absolutely love this piece. It was custom made for me! me! me! and the Aso oke Fabric is quite old.. from the old looms. The fabric is firm and provides the right support; quite flattering for all body types.
What else is great? The suit is made of individual pieces that would work awesomely as separates… The jacket would look great on a neat pair of jeans or pants.. and the Skirt would look super chic with a crisp white shirt.. Or you could totally wear the jacket over a white or black shirt tucked into the skirt… to give it a different spin..or if you are not comfortable showing your arms.
You can get a longer skirt length as well… to suit your preference. Indeed it is a piece/silhouette worth investing in.. I felt quite worthy in this Lady Biba skirt suit.
I teamed it with a Black Jimmmy Choo Pony Skin Bag with gold details..and one of my favorite pink shoes from a store in Lagos called Designer’s club.. They have the most amazing shoes..
Have a great weekend all.. Write in!.. Let us interact!
