Today’s post is a pretty helpful one.. Do you ever go to a store and  find a great dress but it’s either too simple, cute, edgy or dramatic for your tastes.. even though it fits really awesomely?? I have a simple solution..

1. Match the cute dress with tough accessories.. The contrast of the girly garment and edgier accessories creates a very nice contrast and sort of neutralises the sugary sweetness of the look..You hate wearing pink? You can toughen it up with make-up,  hair and accessories.

Simply put.. with the right styling, every garment can quite easily be adapted to your own style.. As long as it fits and is right for your body type.. Everything else can be well taken care of..

2.A dress is too punk for your tastes? It can be totally softened with pretty hair and dainty accessories..

Clothes serve as a canvas for you to prune and tweak according to your tastes..

In the photos below.. I am wearing a floral Shift mini.. It was available at Zinkata but has long since sold out..I matched it with a spiked face-cap and it was just right! The hat added the right edge to the overall outfit and was just the perfect look for me to head out to Zinkata in on a Saturday..
