My outfit for Day 2 of the LFDW shows was strictly for practical reasons.. Or so thought.. I must confess it was a bit hot backstage for a bit, so note to thine-self in the future. “More breathable fabric for working backstage at fashion shows”. It was an extremely hectic day.. Backstage was a really intense process of: fittings, re-shuffling models, having a mini heart attack when I thought I had lost my I-phone, looking at models legs and bodies and feeling a deep visceral reaction I later came to recognise as “major body envy”.Lol!! It was such a beautiful day!! Exciting in many ways..
I shall dedicate a special post to Styling the “Odio Mimonet” show.
In the meantime.. I am quite excited for Day 3 of the shows.. I shall finally be watching the shows as opposed to being backstage. Can’t wait to go hang out with Kelechi Amadi-Obi. He mentioned heading to the shows to set-up a mini-studio for photo-shoots. He specifically said; “Ezinne, come dressed up”.. Pressure guys! Lol! It promises to be an exciting Day 3!
