Maki Oh’s collection closed the day 2 of the shows and started off with a short tongue in cheek fashion film about white lies, elephants. and models dressed in pieces from the collection.. There was a stark simplicity and raw quality to the video; a true representation of Amaka Osakwe’s innate quirks. The gamin/childlike quality of the girls in the film sort of set the tone for the show.
A love for angles, precise cuts and undulating lines all came together in the genius that has become well associated with the brand. See some of my favourite looks below:
